At Pralarg International Multipurpose Cooperative Society, we believe access to responsible financial support can help members overcome temporary financial challenges, grow businesses, pursue education, and create sustainable sources of income.
Our loan and financial-support programmes are designed primarily around the needs of our cooperative members, with repayment arrangements structured according to the type of facility, amount approved, and applicable cooperative policy.
Pralarg International Multipurpose Cooperative Society operates a modern, technology-driven cooperative system designed to serve members wherever they live.
Our operational headquarters is located in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, but our membership is not limited by geographical location.
We have cooperators living in different parts of Nigeria and across the world.
Whether you live in Abeokuta, Lagos, Abuja, another Nigerian state, the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East or elsewhere, you can participate in the Cooperative subject to our membership requirements.
The Cooperative maintains its operational headquarters in Abeokuta, Ogun State, where central administration, financial coordination, membership oversight and other management functions are carried out.
However, members do not have to travel to Abeokuta to perform routine cooperative activities.
Our operational database and essential member services are maintained online, allowing members to access cooperative services remotely.
Our digital operational structure makes it possible for members to participate from virtually anywhere.
Through our online system, members can:
This allows our members to remain active cooperators even when they relocate from one state or country to another.
Nigerians and other eligible persons living abroad can participate in Pralarg International Multipurpose Cooperative Society in accordance with our membership and verification requirements.
Our diaspora operational structure allows members abroad to build savings, maintain their cooperative accounts and participate in eligible cooperative programmes without their physical location becoming an unnecessary barrier.
Where a transaction, investment, loan, business development project or other programme requires activities to be performed physically in Nigeria, additional verification, documentation or a designated representative in Nigeria may be required in accordance with Cooperative policy.
Members can make approved savings and contributions remotely without having to visit the Cooperative headquarters.
Transactions are recorded in the Cooperative’s operational system, enabling members to maintain an organized financial relationship with the Cooperative irrespective of where they live.
Eligible members can initiate applications for available loan and financial-support programmes through our online platform.
Applications are assessed according to the applicable requirements, which may include membership status, savings history, repayment capacity, identity verification, guarantors, collateral or security where required, and the conditions of the particular facility.
Being outside Ogun State—or even outside Nigeria—does not by itself prevent a member from submitting an application.
Transparency is central to our operations.
The Cooperative conducts periodic financial verification and internal financial reviews. Quarterly financial reports are prepared and communicated to members, helping cooperators understand relevant financial activities and the position of their Cooperative.
Where statutory or independent auditing is required, it is carried out in accordance with applicable cooperative regulations and professional requirements.
Technology does not replace the importance of direct human assistance.
Desk Officers are available through our state branches to provide immediate assistance and guidance to members who require local support.
They assist with membership enquiries, savings, documentation, loan applications, payment enquiries, account-related concerns and escalation of matters requiring attention from the headquarters.
Our operational model brings four important elements together:
Central Administration — Headquarters in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Digital Operations — Online membership, savings, applications, records and communication.
Local Support — Desk Officers through our state branches.
Global Membership — Cooperators can participate from Nigeria and other countries around the world.
At Pralarg International Multipurpose Cooperative Society, we believe cooperative participation should be built around trust, accountability and accessibility—not geographical boundaries.
You can live anywhere. You can work anywhere. You can relocate anywhere. Your Cooperative remains accessible to you.
One Cooperative. Global Access. Shared Prosperity.
Your Location Is Not the Barrier — Your Opportunity Starts Here.
Pralarg International Multipurpose Cooperative Society is presently a closed-membership cooperative created primarily as an economic empowerment platform for members, volunteers and the extended family of Pralarg International.
Pralarg International is a nonprofit and human rights organization committed to building legal knowledge, promoting human rights, supporting rehabilitation, helping humanity and strengthening trust within our communities. The Cooperative grew out of that same philosophy.
A cooperative is more than a place where people save money and obtain loans. It is a community of people who contribute together, save together and support one another. For our Cooperative, trust and sincerity are particularly important. Many of our members and volunteers have developed relationships through their involvement with Pralarg International. There is an existing structure of identification, accountability, service and mutual responsibility. Our philosophy is simple: We know one another. We contribute together. We grow together. And when one of us needs support, we come together to help.
Pralarg International Multipurpose Cooperative Society is still developing its financial foundation, operational systems and loan portfolio. At this early stage, introducing people who have no existing relationship with the organization could increase financial and operational risks, particularly when members' collective savings are being used to provide loans and empowerment opportunities. A loan default does not affect only the Cooperative—it can ultimately affect the funds and opportunities available to other members. We therefore believe that our first responsibility is to build a strong culture of trust, accountability and responsible borrowing before expanding membership more widely. This is not intended to suggest that people outside Pralarg International cannot be trusted. Rather, it is a deliberate risk-management approach appropriate to the present stage of our Cooperative's development.
The Cooperative was established as part of the economic empowerment vision for the members and volunteers of Pralarg International. While Pralarg International carries out nonprofit, human rights, legal empowerment, rehabilitation and humanitarian activities, the Cooperative provides a platform through which eligible members can: Save and build financial discipline Access responsible financial support Develop businesses Support education Receive emergency financial assistance Acquire productive assets Participate in collective economic opportunities Help other members achieve financial independence In this way, our humanitarian and human-rights philosophy is complemented by practical economic empowerment.
Yes. Our present membership policy does not necessarily mean that the Cooperative will remain closed to the wider public permanently. As the Cooperative grows, develops a stronger financial base, gains more experience, strengthens its verification and risk-management systems, and establishes a sustainable record of responsible lending and repayment, the leadership may consider opening appropriate membership or financial programmes to the general public. Until then, our priority is to grow carefully rather than grow too quickly. We want to build an institution that members can trust for many years.
If you are interested in the Cooperative but are not currently part of Pralarg International, you may first explore opportunities to become involved with Pralarg International, including its membership, volunteering, humanitarian, community and empowerment activities, subject to the organization's applicable requirements. Our objective is not simply to gather people together because they need loans. We are building a community based on service, trust, sincerity, responsibility and collective progress. PRALARG INTERNATIONAL MULTIPURPOSE COOPERATIVE SOCIETY We Know One Another. We Trust One Another. We Support One Another. We Grow Together.
